Who is an Art Teacher 


An art teacher is someone who teaches students at the school level how to draw paint sketch to represent ones visual ideas on a two dimensional paper. They also teach how to make art  3-dimenionaly that is sculpture. They help students to learn different art techniques and styles. An art teacher will also touch upon at theory level different forms of art that is prevalent around the world. 

Who is an Art Professor

 Art Professor are appointed in Universities. They guide students who have taken up the subject art and design to specialise in a specific art method. The professor is well versed in sketching,  drawing, sculpting, digital drawing.

What Qualification does an Art Teacher or Professor Need?

A bachelors degree in Arts(B.F.A) or a Masters Degree in Arts (M.F.A). There are art and design colleges  which focuses on artistic fields like design, performing arts, and visual arts. A combination of art studio practice, art history, and education courses are frequently studied by students pursuing a BFA  and MFA in Art Education.

University Art Professor: Working at higher education institutions, art professors may specialize in specific disciplines, such as painting, sculpture, graphic design, or art history. They often teach advanced courses and may conduct research or creative projects.

Online Art Instructor: Teaching art courses through online platforms, catering to students worldwide and utilizing digital tools for instruction.

Private Art Teachers: These individuals take art classes in hourly basis and they also specify which age group they prefer. (Above 8yrs to 12yrs) (4yrs to 8yrs) (above 18yrs). These teaches specialise in a particular art form. Painting. drawing , oil painting . They usually take classes to enhance this in individuals who want to pursue this as a hobby.

School art teacher : These individuals teach drawing, portraits, arts and crafts, Use of paints, to students in a school from age group of 4 years to 16 years.
