Diwali festival paper craft ideas.

This is a fun art and craft idea.  This idea can be used as holiday art work, art theme projects or as a decorative theme collage as an interior designer. Below are steps on how to proceed.

Step 1

Take A4 coloured papers of different colours.

Step 2

Cut the papers in the shape of colourful lamps and diyas. As shown below.

Step 3

Take A4 paper of orange colour. Cut the paper in the shapes of flame as shown below.

Step 4

Arrange the cutouts of lamps and the flame in an artistic way. This choice is left to the kids or people how they design it.

What is Diwali Festival 

Diwali Is one of India's Festival. Diwali or Deepavali  is Sanskrit  word meaning " a row of Lights".

In each part of India Diwali is celebrated in different ways.

In North India, people celebrate as Lord Rama returns to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana. 

In Sothern India this day is celebrated as Naraka chatudashi, as lord Krishna defeated Demon Narkasura.

In Westen India this day is marked as the day when Lord Vishnu  sent the Demon King Bali to rule the netherworld.

In Many parts of the country Goddess of wealth Lakshmi is worshiped and new ventures are started.
