Colour is science as colours are light rays travel into the eye to the retina located at the back of our eyes. The retina is covered by millions of cells called rods and cones. When these cells detect light the rods and cones then differentiate us to see different colours.
As artists we must know how we see colours, what part of our sense organ perceives light from the environment and how splits it into many shades.

Colour as art, as using colours effectively can change the emotion of people which in turn a desired action can be ascertained. for this we have to go deeper into color theory and dive into meaning of each colour and how they influence socially, emotionally and culturally.
